WHAT IS PASTORAL BIBLICAL COUNSELING?
Pastoral counseling is Christian in nature using strictly Bible-based approach. The Bible is the sole basis and authority for counseling provided by the ministry. The Pastoral counselor spends time listening, asking questions, and giving advice intended to help the counselee resolve the challenges they are having. The Pastoral counselor uses prayer and scripture to welcome God's presence into the healing process. Counselees are encouraged to raise any questions they may have. Pastoral counseling is not mental health care. We do not perform psychiatric evaluations nor do we prescribe medication.

Light Dawns Ministries has a desire to assist you, with the help of the Lord, the Word of God, our professional counseling and life experiences. To keep this ministry available for you and others, we call your attention to the financial matter.
Many insurance companies will cover counseling services. LDM will fill out any insurance forms for reimbursement upon request. Suggestions for pursuing insurance coverage: Obtain pre-approval and any special form(s) that your insurance company requires to be completed.
For those whose insurance does not reimburse or you do not have insurance you may qualify for a sliding financial scale.

Counseling by appointment:
Counseling sessions are fifty minutes in length. If you cannot make a scheduled appointment you must cancel 24 hrs. prior to appointment or you will be billed for the appointment.
Also, please contact us for regular hourly counseling fees.
